What I enjoy is meeting new people, and learning new things that are not "boring". Im trying to major in accounting because im pretty good with math. I graduated from Monroe Township high school and, moved out to Jersey City because I could not stand my home town. My goals are to transfer out after a year and enroll into Pace University, Manhattan or Rutgers, New Brunswick. As of now I am unemployed, living with my cousin, and have no friends due to the fact that everyone I knew has gone away for school. I hope for the best and plan on working hard to reach my goals.

I have yet decided on a major. This is my first time in a classroom since high school and I am looking forward to my experience and can’t wait to get started. I enjoy cooking, traveling and any activity that involves being outdoors and in the sun.
ReplyDeleteHi my name is joshua and currently I’m 19 years of age. I have a nice personality and am very easy to get along with. This is my first semester of college like a lot of other people. My major in Hudson county community college is computer science because I just love technology and how it works. What I like to do in my spare time is to play video games and just relax with friends and family. People may see that as somewhat weird to play video games as a hobby, but it’s what I really like to do. I’m also what experts that study personality call an introvert. Introverts usually like to enjoy something on their own and like their personal space. It’s not that they are lonely or anything, it’s just that social gatherings tire them out quickly. That happens to me a lot so I don’t really like social stuff that much. I prefer to enjoy things at my own pace. This whole blogging thing is new to me and I really like it. It could probably make me new friends and people that have common interests with me.

ReplyDeleteMy name is Ebony Kairu and repeating this class. I’m repeating this class because I didn’t pass the first time around due to minor setbacks. I have to admit; I was incredibly nervous coming to class today and at this moment I still am because I really want to pass with an A. All I’m worried about at this moment is making it, I’m on academic probation and this class will determine whether I float or sink. In all honesty, I feel somewhat intimidated by this class because I did terribly last semester and I don’t want to experience that failure again. I lost a lot of confidence and all I want to do is gain some of that confidence back. It’s hard accepting that type of failure when you are usually at the head of your class in a more advanced setting. But maybe that was just in high school now it’s time to transition into college.

I am working towards attaining an associate degree in engineering here and plan to continue my studies elsewhere. Engineering is my passion, mainly because of my fascination with understanding how “things” work but also because my father was a civil engineer. In my spare time I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, reading, and drawing. My top five favorite films currently are Cool Hand Luke, Dr. Strangelove, The Boondock Saints, Reservoir Dogs, and The Atomic Cafe. This summer I vacationed with some long-time friends in Virginia, met new interesting people, and had an overall great time.
